R&D West comprises of two teams located in London (Euro R&D) and San Mateo (US R&D).

We are the experts in PlayStation®
We do not create games ourselves; we Research and Develop ideas and products that benefit consumers worldwide, as well as contribute to the SDK (Software Development Kit) used by game developers.
Our working
environment
R&D West is formed of passionate, talented teams drawn from countries across the globe working together to create world class software. Our success has been based on having close direct contact with the PlayStation® development community. We tend to take an agile approach to development projects, with time (often between sprints) set aside for innovation driven by the interests of our staff.
