The Museum seeks to preserve a comprehensive view of computing history, one that includes the machines, software, business and competitive environments, personal recollections, and social implications of one of humankind's most important invention, the computer.

The Museum welcomes use of its collections. The document collections consist of manuals, books, marketing brochures, periodicals, technical reports and other types of documentation listed in more than 20,000 catalog entries.
